Delays can be expected. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, avoid areas along the race course, allow for extra driving time and proceed with caution during Race Weekend.

Today the Philadelphia Marathon, recently named one of the Best Marathons in the Northeast, officially announced the latest enhancement to its 2016 Race Weekend- the inaugural 39.3 Rocky Challenge. This new addition encourages runners to take on the ultimate Philly challenge by facing 13.1 miles of the half marathon on Saturday, November 19 and then 26.2 miles of the full marathon on Sunday, November 20.
