American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)

Run for a great cause and support cancer research by running on the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Runners for Research team. This team is a global community of those from all walks of life dedicated to running to save lives. They come together for races around the country to raise funds that help prevent and cure more than 200 types of cancer. This is one of the many ways that the AACR spreads awareness and promotes new knowledge about the importance and impact of cancer research.

In 2018, more than 300 runners were on this team during Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, and this year, they are setting their goals even higher. Join them in aiming to raise $1 million for cancer research! When you run on this team, 88 cents of every dollar raised goes toward lifesaving cancer research. The AACR Foundation allocates these funds for cancer-related scientific programs and services, supporting the work of their 42,000 members in 120 countries.
